This is me
Obsessed with style from the get go, I'm forever grateful for my parents who never questioned my decision to major in Fashion Design.
After graduating Syracuse University, I made it to NYC where I honed my skills in the garment center designing sportswear.

It wasn't until my move to San Francisco that I became familiar with The Outdoor Industry and Athleta specifically. At the time, they were a small catalog company in Petaluma catering to female Bay Area athletes.

As their first in house designer I was integral to their fast growth and subsequent acquisition by The Gap. Becoming their "5th tab" on their website. Such a thrill.

After 5 years (and a new baby) I left Athleta for a tiny commute and a dream job with Carve Designs in Mill Valley. It was there that was able to have my eye on the entire assortment.

My passions are color, print and trend... and knowing that it's all for naught if the fit isn't there. Creating apparel requires many moving pieces coming together successfully to be one. A collaboration between Design, Production, Technical, Merchandising, Marketing and Sales. And at the end, the customer. The reason we do what we do!

Nice to meet you.
